Job Description

About the Role

We are recruiting a Civil Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable consulting engineering firm based in Cape Town, to join a dynamic team and contribute to a variety of civil engineering projects from within a well-resourced drawing office.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with drafting and detailing of civil engineering designs
Prepare and maintain accurate drawings and documentation
Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant CAD software and industry standards
Perform other duties as required by the drawing office

Requirements

National Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant Draughting Certificate/Diploma
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office Suite
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a consulting engineering environment
Minimum 4 years’ experience specifically within a drawing office
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team
