About the Role
We are seeking a charismatic and skilled Head Mixologist to join our prestigious private members club in Cape Town, bringing creativity, precision, and personality to our bar program. As a leader, you will design and oversee a world-class cocktail and spirits program that reflects our timeless, bold, and sophisticated aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee a world-class cocktail and spirits program
- Train staff on advanced techniques, presentation, and service excellence
- Manage inventory, control costs, and build strong relationships with suppliers
- Develop and implement a signature cocktail program and thoughtfully curated spirits list
- Drive membership acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies
- Innovate seasonally, aligning beverage offerings with culinary concepts and event themes
- Maintain impeccable bar presentation and meticulous mise en place
- Provide an engaging, polished, and memorable experience for every guest
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in upscale bars or cocktail lounges
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology and a track record of innovative beverage creation
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and international cocktail trends
- Excellent leadership abilities, with strong skills in presentation and storytelling
- Polished presence, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality
