About the Role

The Pedal Power Association (PPA) is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to design, implement, and grow programmes that expand safe, inclusive, and accessible everyday cycling for all, with a focus on underserved and mobility-constrained communities.

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience in community development, outreach, mobility programmes, or NGO programme management.
• A confident, regular everyday cyclist with practical experience navigating real-world cycling environments (urban, peri-urban, and/or township contexts).
• Demonstrated experience working in underserved communities with cultural sensitivity and respect.
• Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting grassroots initiatives, youth programmes, or community-based organisations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a people-centred approach.

Qualifications

Formal project-management training (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is desirable. Other relevant qualifications are not specified.
