About the Role

We are partnering with an innovative, farm-to-table food concept in Cape Town to recruit a young, dynamic Senior Chef who embodies the brand’s values of people-first service and championing fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced produce.

Key Responsibilities

Proven experience as a Senior Chef – ideally in a multi-outlet hospitality environment
Hands-on across all channels; this is not a desk-based role
Engage confidently and warmly with customers
Conduct regular stock takes, manage ordering, and minimise food waste
Plan for seasonal shifts, market schedules, events, and supply requirements
Train, mentor, and motivate a small multi-channel team
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Chef
Strong hands-on cooking skills across multiple channels
Excellent customer engagement and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility
Stable employment history and contactable references

Qualifications

Formal education or certification in culinary arts (not specified)
