About the Role
The Senior Fleet Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a fleet management team in the Cape Town region, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance of company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate fleet maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle utilization
- Lead and motivate a team of fleet technicians to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction
- Monitor fuel card usage and data capturing to identify areas for cost reduction and improvement
- Prepare and submit reports on fleet performance, maintenance, and repair activities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other departments
Requirements
- Grade 12 Qualification/Certificate in fleet management and/or 2+ years experience as a team leader
- Minimum of 2+ years fleet maintenance experience
- Valid drivers licence
- Experience with fuel cards and data capturing
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in fleet management (if applicable)
