About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tasting Room Assistant Manager to join our team in Cape Town, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in a fast-paced wine environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every guest
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and grow the business
- Taste and present wine offerings to customers, making recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular stock takes and cash ups
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
Requirements
- Previous experience in a tasting room, hospitality, or retail environment
- Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong sales ability with a customer-first mindset
- Knowledge of wine will be an advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
