Job Description
A leading dynamic and fast-paced organisation in the extreme sports industry is looking for a talented Social Media Co-Ordinator to join their Cape Town Head Office.
Youll be working closely with digital marketing specialists, copywriters, designers, and commercial marketing teams to plan, execute, and monitor compelling social and direct marketing campaigns. The company is renowned for its innovative and scientifically backed protective gear used by some of the worlds top extreme sports athletes.
Responsibilities:

Grow and engage our social media community through relevant, high-quality content across platforms.

Manage scheduling and delivery of content, including reactive posts after-hours, on weekends, and holidays.

Respond to community interactions in collaboration with customer support, escalating issues where needed.

Support and execute Paid Social Media campaigns with the Digital Marketing Specialist.

Track and report on performance metrics to drive monetisation and hit key KPIs.
-
Explore and recommend new platforms such as TikTok Shop and Amazon for brand expansion.

Stay up to date with social trends and platform changes to inform strategy.
Requirements:

Proven experience building brand engagement on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).

Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt voice and tone to match brand identity.

Understanding of email marketing tools and analytics platforms like Google Analytics.

Ability to multitask, work independently, and make sound judgments under pressure.

A team player with excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
