Job Summary:
The Toolroom and Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and tools in the facility. This includes managing the toolroom inventory, scheduling preventative maintenance activities, and coordinating maintenance technicians. The Toolroom and Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance and uptime of all equipment.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and tools in the facility
– Manage the toolroom inventory and ensure availability of necessary tools and supplies
– Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance of equipment
– Coordinate maintenance technicians and schedule preventative maintenance activities
– Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
– Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
– Train and mentor maintenance technicians to improve skills and knowledge
– Collaborate with other departments to improve overall equipment efficiency and productivity
– Manage budget and expenses related to maintenance activities
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
– Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices
– Experience with preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
– Experience with inventory management and control
