About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Truck Sales Manager to join our client’s team in Cape Town, where you will be responsible for managing sales, leading and developing a sales team, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales by planning and controlling revenue and expenses
- Set and track team targets
- Report results
- Lead and develop the sales team through coaching, training, motivation, and product knowledge
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation and promoting products
- Understand ideal customers and contribute to team goals
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
Requirements
- Experience within the trucking and commercial industry (Volvo, UD Trucks, Scania etc.)
- 2-3 years experience as a Truck Sales Manager
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience managing and directing a sales team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication skills
- Management and leader skills
- Dedication to providing great customer service
- Ability to lead a sales team
- Clean criminal record
- Valid drivers license
- Grade 12/Matric
