About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a skilled Centurion: Electrical and Instrumentation Estimator to join our team. As an integral member of our engineering, procurement, and project teams, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for E&I projects, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for E&I projects, including materials, labour, and subcontractor pricing
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents
  • Conduct site visits where required to assess project requirements
  • Compile Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documentation
  • Source and negotiate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Analyse project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards
  • Assist in tender adjudication and contract negotiations
  • Maintain a database of historical costs and pricing benchmarks

Requirements

  • National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
  • 3–8 years’ experience in E&I estimating within EPCM, construction, or industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation
  • Experience with tendering processes and cost estimation software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs
  • Proficient in MS Excel and estimation tools
