About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Centurion: Planner to join our team at Pump and Abrasion Technologies, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining open communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning process for area of responsibility and ensure cross-functional consensus is reached.
- Ensure all Planning tools and systems are updated timely and accurately.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders within the production environment to achieve successful supply to customers.
- Ensure Ops and Sales teams are updated on changes in order statuses, and delivery date changes when it is necessitated.
- Maintain an open line of communication with the Planning group and Expeditors daily.
- Coordinate preparation of production schedules and materials.
- Be informed on sales forecasts to determine and medium-term requirements for production resources.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships in Operations environment to maintain a harmonious and proactive working environment.
Requirements
- Matric
- Computer literate
- At least 2 years experience in the Pump industry
- Syspro experience
- At least 1 year planning experience
