About the Role

As a Centurion: Recruitment Research Consultant, you will be responsible for owning the full candidate side of recruitment, working closely with our Recruitment Consultants to ensure only the right people are put forward for each client brief. This is a proactive, people-focused role that requires confidence, strong communication, and sharp attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage job adverts across platforms including LinkedIn, PNet, Indeed, and social media groups.
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases, job boards, and social media; identify passive candidates and engage them through tailored outreach.
  • Conduct cold calls to introduce roles to passive candidates and assess their interest and fit.
  • Screen CVs and conduct telephonic or virtual interviews to assess skills, experience, cultural fit, and motivation; prepare shortlisted candidates for client interviews.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, initiate compliance and vetting processes (references and background checks), and maintain accurate candidate records in Placement Partner (ATS).

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years’ proven experience in a recruitment, sales and marketing, or similar role.
