About the Role
The Operational Coordinator role is a critical component of our De Doorns, WC team, supporting the management of operational objectives in the area. The successful candidate will provide daily operations and manpower support, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient workplace management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general office operations and deliver exceptional customer service
- Verify purchases are budgeted for and correctly allocated
- Maintain asset register and update stock levels
- Submit attendance registers and plan logistical operations
- Service and maintain operational equipment and vehicles
- Build strong relationships with growers through regular meetings and communications
- Monitor and report on capacity models, quality standards, and data accuracy
- Manage and motivate subordinates to meet operational requirements
- Maintain a safe and comfortable work environment with an open-door management style
- Implement and support 5S program operations daily
- Maintain accurate operations documents and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operational or management activities
- Agricultural and/or operations qualification (advantageous)
- Exposure to yearly audits & reports is required
- Experience in health and safety systems (advantageous)
Qualifications
- National higher diploma or degree in Operations and/or Agricultural management or related field
