About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Assistant SPA Manager in preparation for our pre-opening phase. As the second-in-command, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our spa and providing premium services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the spa during trading hours (08:00 – 20:00)
- Lead a strong team of SPA professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Assist with front-of-house duties, including reception and therapy management
- Collaborate with the Spa Manager to develop and implement business strategies
- Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
- Beautifully groomed and professionally presentable
- Confident in English language (Speak, Read & Write)
- Formal, recognized qualification in SPA / Beauty / Skin Care or Cosmetology (CIDESCO / ITEC / CIBTAC / SAAHSP accredited certification)
- Spa Management certification / training (BONUS)
- At least 5+ years in a Senior Therapist / Assistant Manager / Spa Supervisor role of a Cruise Ship Spa / Resort Spa or 5-star Hotel
- Computer literate with booking systems, emails, and reports
- International employment experience is highly favourable

Salary & Benefits
R18,000 – R25,000 per month (based on desired experience), plus retail commission, treatment commission, company benefits (to be discussed), company accommodation (shared amenities), staff meals / meals allowance, international training & traveling incentives, annual leave, and gratuities.
