About the Role
Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in Electrical Building Services and Rural Electrification design, with a strong background in electrical design requirements and practices through various project execution phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects for electrical building services and rural electrification projects
- Conduct site visits to assess electrical systems and provide recommendations
- Develop and implement electrical designs using Revit, Dilux, and AutoCAD software
- Collaborate with teams to integrate electrical systems with existing infrastructure
- Prepare tender documents, present at bid specification committees, and provide tender evaluation reports
- Manage GCC and JBCC contracts, including claims and dispute resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
- 10-12 years of experience in Electrical Building Services and Rural Electrification design
- Knowledge of electrical design requirements and practices through various project execution phases
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
Salary & Benefits
R800, 000 – R900, 000 P/A
