About the Role
Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical building services solutions for various projects, including greenfield and brownfield developments. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with excellent technical knowledge and tendering experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical building services solutions for various projects
- Provide tendering support, including creating tender documents, presenting at bid specification committees, and evaluating tender bids
- Manage GCC and JBCC contracts, dealing with claims and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate electrical systems with existing infrastructure
- Develop and maintain knowledge of electrical design requirements and practices through various project execution phases
- Utilize Revit, Dilux, and AutoCAD software for design and documentation purposes
- Proficiently use Integrated or Analysis Design Tools like ETAPSmartPlant, Rectimaster, Bentley Microstation, Digisilent, DesSoft, and Power Office
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
- 10-12 years of experience in Electrical Building Services and Rural Electrification design
- Proficient in Revit, Dilux, and AutoCAD software
