Durban: Electrical Engineer

Job Summary: As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. You will work closely with other Engineers and Project Managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components Analyse and interpret technical specifications, schematics, and diagrams Conduct research to ensure that designs meet safety and quality standards Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during the design and testing phases Collaborate with other Engineers and Project Managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering Strong understanding of electrical systems and components Familiarity with industry standards and regulations Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software Strong communication and collaboration skills We offer competitive compensation packages, including health benefits, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
