About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Food Sales Representative to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective sales strategies and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities and present company products to potential customers
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and other sales agreements
- Meet sales targets and maintain accurate records of sales activities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts
- Provide customer feedback and insights to the Sales Manager and Product Development Team
Requirements
- Matric/ND/BTech/BCom in Sales/Mkt/Food Service or related field
- CompLit.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales of food/RTE/RTH/party foods, preferably in hospitality/restaurants/industrial catering/QSR/food factories
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Qualifications
- Formal education in Sales/Mkt/Food Service or related field (e.g. Bachelor’s degree)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Own car (not required but an asset)
