About the Role
Fusion Personnel is seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth within the chemical metal finishing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the chemical metal finishing industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Provide technical product knowledge and tailored solutions to customers
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment
- Prepare quotes, sales forecasts, and reports
- Attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
Requirements
- Proven sales experience (preferably in chemical / metal finishing or related industry)
- Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling ability
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel
