About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Locum Pharmacist to join our team in Durban. As a Locum Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure production follows approved formulas and batch manufacturing records.
- Ensure all processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Follow regulatory guidelines from authorities such as the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority in South Africa.
- Monitor product quality during manufacturing.
- Ensure products meet required safety, efficacy, and quality standards.
- Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Review and sign batch manufacturing records.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
- Plan and monitor production schedules.
- Ensure optimal use of equipment, materials, and manpower.
- Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Monitor the cleanliness and compliance of manufacturing areas.
- Supervise production staff and technicians.
- Train employees on GMP procedures, safety protocols, and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Maintain a safe production environment.

- BPharm Qualification
- SAPC Active Registration as Pharmacist
- Production, Warehousing, and Distribution Experience
