About the Role
As a Restaurant General Manager at Craven Cottage CC, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. You will be on duty during busy shifts, weekends, and all functions, requiring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure daily store operational requirements are met.
- Supervise staff to ensure effective management and performance.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, maintenance, health and safety in the restaurant.
- Manage beverage cost, food costs, and stock control within specified ranges.
- Be on duty for busy shifts, weekends, and all functions.
- Foster effective communication between staff and management.
- Issue reports timeously to ensure timely decision-making.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in dealing with high volume sales in a similar environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership ability.
- Ability to delegate and manage down effectively.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and process-driven approach.
