Candidates must have practical experience in capturing bank statements in Pastel, performing reconciliations, and managing debtors and creditors. A solid accounting background is essential, with active involvement in the full accounting cycleexecuting tasks directly rather than only reviewing processes. Key Responsibilities include: Accounts payable: invoice processing, payments, and electronic filing Cash book and general ledger: bank reconciliations, journals, month-end processes Fixed assets: asset tracking, disposals, and journal entries Statutory returns: VAT201, EMP submissions Monthly management accounts: variance reports, intercompany transactions, BIC reporting Annual financials: lead schedules, asset registers, auditor support General: filing, audit preparation, budget assistance Requirements: Relevant Accounting qualification (Degree / Diploma) Bookkeeping experience is essential Proficient in Pastel or similar accounting systems Strong command of MS Office
