NB: For HR and IT N6 graduates, the positions/person will be based in East London.
Jumbo Clothing Co. is pleased to offer an exciting 18-month Workplace Experience Programme for TVET/FET graduates holding an N6 Certificate in Business Management, HR, IT, or Marketing. This comprehensive on-the-job training opportunity is designed to provide practical experience, support diploma certification, and foster professional growth within a dynamic clothing retail environment.
Participants will gain hands-on exposure to various roles across the organization, develop essential skills, and explore diverse career paths in the retail and apparel industry. This program is ideal for motivated graduates eager to enhance their expertise and kick-start their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional Exposure: Rotate through different roles such as IT, HR, Marketing, and Business Operations to gain a broad understanding of organizational functions.
- Support Daily Operations: Assist in routine tasks related to respective departments, including data management, employee engagement, marketing campaigns, and business analysis.
- Project Assistance: Contribute to ongoing projects, providing fresh perspectives and support to team members.
- Training & Development: Participate actively in training sessions, to enhance industry-specific knowledge and skills.
- Customer & Client Interaction: Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to understand service delivery and client relationship management.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and document learnings from different roles.
Minimum Requirements:
- N6 Certificate in Business Management, HR, IT, or Marketing from a TVET/FET College
- No Criminal Record
- South African Citizen
Additional Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive and customer-oriented mindset
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Where applicable)
- Willingness to travel (applicable for IT Intern)
