About the Role
Profile Personnel is seeking an experienced Production Fitter to join their team in East London, Zwelitsha. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical installations and maintenance on equipment such as pumps, rotating equipment, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical installations
- Work with various types of equipment, including pumps, rotating equipment, and gearboxes
- Conduct hydraulic and pneumatic system tests and repairs
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience as a Fitter on mechanical installations and maintenance
- Minimum N3 Technical Qualification
- Passed a recognised Trade Test
- Preferably served a Fitter apprenticeship
- Arc, Mig, and Tig welding skills advantageous
- Ability to work shifts
- Experience in the textile industry an advantage
- Pressure vessel experience an advantage
