About the Role

Profile Personnel is seeking a skilled Production Fitter to join their team in East London (Zwelitsha). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical installations and maintenance on equipment such as pumps, rotating equipment, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical installations
Work on equipment such as pumps, rotating equipment, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics
Ensure high-quality work output
Interact with production and maintenance teams
Comply to safety, health, and environmental requirements in the workplace

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years working experience as a Fitter on mechanical installations and maintenance
Minimum N3 Technical Qualification
Passed a recognised Trade Test
Preferably served a Fitter apprenticeship
Arc, Mig, and Tig welding skills would be advantageous
Ability to work shifts

Qualifications

Formal education/certifications: N3 Technical Qualification (if applicable)
