Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Fitter to join our team in East London, Zwelitsha. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of mechanical installations on equipment such as pumps, rotating equipment, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical installations
Ensure efficient operation of production equipment
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years working experience as a Fitter
N3 Technical Qualification and passed a recognised Trade Test
Preferably served a Fitter apprenticeship
Arc, Mig and Tig welding skills advantageous
Prepared to work shifts
Experience in the textile industry advantageous
Pressure vessel experience advantageous

Qualifications

Completed N3 Technical Qualification
Passed a recognised Trade Test
