About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Foreman to join our growing property development and manufacturing business in East London. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, managing production planning, and ensuring high-quality output while driving operational efficiency and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations and production planning
  • Ensure aluminium fabrication targets and factory output KPIs are met
  • Monitor production schedules and workflow optimisation
  • Track and improve production line efficiency and turnaround times
  • Submit accurate production reports, timesheets, and performance metrics
  • Implement strict quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures
  • Inspect aluminium windows, doors, and fabricated components before dispatch
  • Address manufacturing defects and workmanship standards
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and factory quality systems
  • Supervise and lead factory staff, artisans, fabricators, and general workers
  • Manage performance, productivity, and workforce planning
  • Enforce workshop discipline and operational procedures
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Handle disciplinary processes and performance management
  • Enforce Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations
  • Maintain a safe and compliant factory floor

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Production Foreman, Factory Foreman, Workshop Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, or Aluminium Production Manager
  • Strong background in aluminium fabrication, aluminium windows and doors manufacturing, or metal fabrication
  • Experience in factory production management and manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of quality control systems, production scheduling, and workflow management
