Key Responsibilities
Production & Output Management
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations and production planning
- Ensure aluminium fabrication targets and factory output KPIs are met
- Monitor production schedules and workflow optimisation
- Track and improve production line efficiency and turnaround times
- Submit accurate production reports, timesheets, and performance metrics
Quality Control & Compliance
- Implement strict quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures
- Inspect aluminium windows, doors, and fabricated components before dispatch
- Address manufacturing defects and workmanship standards
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and factory quality systems
Staff & Workshop Management
- Supervise and lead factory staff, artisans, fabricators, and general workers
- Manage performance, productivity, and workforce planning
- Enforce workshop discipline and operational procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Handle disciplinary processes and performance management
Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations
- Ensure PPE compliance in the manufacturing environment
- Conduct regular machinery inspections and risk assessments
- Maintain a safe and compliant factory floor
Materials & Stock Control
- Monitor raw material usage, aluminium profiles, glass, and hardware stock
- Control wastage, scrap management, and material variances
- Assist with monthly stock takes and inventory control
- Ensure accurate stores and warehouse coordination
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Foreman, Factory Foreman, Workshop Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, or Aluminium Production Manager
- Strong background in aluminium fabrication, aluminium windows and doors manufacturing, or metal fabrication
- Experience in factory production management and manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of quality control systems, production scheduling, and workflow management
- Strong understanding of OHS compliance in manufacturing
- Leadership experience managing teams in a production environment
