Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Setter to join our client’s team in Uitenhage. As a Machine Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting machines in the manufacturing process. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the success of our operations.

In this role, you will work closely with the production team to ensure machines are set up correctly and operating efficiently. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues that arise during production and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust machines according to production requirements
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Machine Setter in the manufacturing industry
• Must have background in plastics
• Strong technical knowledge of machine setting and operation
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
