About the Role
The Temp Quality Engineer (Electrical) role at Staff Solutions involves ensuring that motor vehicle components perform consistently to specification throughout their life cycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and managing qualifying programs, implementing continuous improvement, testing and evaluating parts, providing technical expertise, and initiating design improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage the Qualifying Program for new part introduction.
- Implement continuous improvement by identifying the root cause for part deviations from specification and correct the deviation in all phases of the life cycle of the part.
- Test and evaluate the performance of parts according to specification.
- Provide the required technical expertise for complete parts in respect of material and function.
- Initiate design improvements for complex problems with electrical parts and harnesses.
Requirements
- National Diploma Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in the manufacturing environment
