About the Role
As a Financial Advisor for personal and commercial lines at our esteemed organisation, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities while maintaining a healthy pipeline of income-generating leads. This is a face-to-face sales role that requires you to conduct comprehensive needs analyses with prospective clients and provide specialist advice on insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Source sufficient lead generating opportunities to ensure a healthy income-generating pipeline
- Conduct in-depth needs analyses with all prospective clients to discharge their advice responsibility
- Maintain and update the Lead Generation Matrix on a weekly basis
- Perform in line with business expectations on agreed key performance areas
- Stay up-to-date with product comparisons, opposition products, and industry regulations
- Provide specialist, professional advice in relevant business areas
- Meet the required dress code and maintain a professional appearance
- Comply with all activities in accordance with FAIS codes of conduct and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- FAIS Credits (RE5)
- 120 CPD points if registered for 1 line of business
- 18 CPD points if registered for both commercial and personal lines
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in selling short-term insurance (commercial and personal lines) as a broker agent or tied agent
- Face-to-face sales experience only
