About the Role
Unique Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Creditors to join our team in Ekurhuleni. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining accurate stock levels. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and experience with inventory management, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively chase suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries
- Manage stock movements, price updates, returns & credit notes
- Process purchase orders (local)
- Monitor inventory levels, turn-around & discrepancies
- Produce Excel-based reports and support accurate stock control
- Keep vendor files, master data and systems clean and compliant
- Ensure invoices match goods received notes with reference to quantities, quality, price, and description
- Authorize invoices in accordance with the appropriate levels of authority
- Utilize correct GL & vendor account when processing invoices in Accounts Payable module
- Apply correct VAT to invoices
- Chasing suppliers to ensure products are received on time
- Return faulty stock to suppliers for credit or exchange
- Update dormant/access reports on a monthly basis
- Follow up on credit notes from suppliers
- Prepare and submit creditors reconciliations (invoices follow sequence)
- Claim discounts where applicable
- Prepare monthly analysis of the creditors list
- Timely follow up on all AP queries
- Forward remittance advices to suppliers after completion of payment run
- File invoices according to agreed filing protocols
- Maintain vendor master listing and supplier credit applications
- Process supplier purchase orders, invoices and returns (local & import)
- Update price changes with suppliers
- Produce various Excel reports (inventory movement, supplier chasing, credit notes, etc.)
Requirements
- Grade 12 Pref with Accounting and Maths
Qualifications
- Tertiary Education – Advantage
