About the Role
The Boran Stud Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a cattle breeding facility, ensuring the health, well-being, and productivity of the herd, while also managing staff and facilities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field (advanced degrees preferred)
- Proven experience in cattle breeding, preferably with Boran cattle or other beef cattle breeds (2 years minimum)
- Strong understanding of animal husbandry, reproduction, genetics, and herd health management
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in record keeping and data management
- Familiarity with modern agricultural technologies and equipment
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to make informed decisions
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Experience in staff supervision and team management
