Job Description

About the Role

As a Branch Manager at Masterparts, you will be responsible for leading and developing employees, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the branch meets its profit and growth targets. You will also be responsible for managing legislative compliance, upholding company values, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop employees under your care.
Foster a positive, desirable work environment, ensuring all staff are treated with respect and dignity.
Manage legislative compliance in health and safety, firefighting, and first aid, and maintain a safe working environment.
Uphold and project the company values.
Ensure the branch meets its profit and growth targets.
Monitor, improve, and maintain customer service.
Resolve technical claims and customer complaints.
Manage the stock at the branch, ensuring excellent warehousing organisation and eradicating stock losses.
Manage premises (internal, external, parking, and gardens), ensuring maintenance and repairs are performed punctually, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
Manage the company’s vehicles and motorcycles, ensuring they are in good working order, properly serviced and maintained, and always clean and presentable.
Perform ad hoc duties as needed.

Requirements

Managerial experience at a busy, medium-sized automotive parts retailer and wholesaler.
At least ten years of combined experience in the aftermarket, especially sales, stock control, and logistics.
Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent computer and systems knowledge.
Extensive knowledge of the automotive parts and brands.
Excellent mechanical and technical knowledge.
Excellent leadership and people management ability.
