About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Driver / Handyman to join our team at Kauai Juice. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving company vehicles over established routes to deliver products and provide general repair and maintenance services. Your duties will also include attending to stores, handling Head Office correspondence, conducting routine maintenance checks, building relationships with suppliers, and performing various repairs and replacements as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to stores and attend to Head Office Correspondence
- Conducting routine maintenance and checks for all stores
- Building Relationships with maintenance staff, Club General Management Staff (CGMS), Store Managers, and Suppliers
- Carrying out any repairs, replacement or maintenance where necessary
- Obtain store maintenance checklists, conduct spot checks, and keep accurate records on file
- Ensure that all tools and equipment, including company vehicle/s, remain company property and are safely guarded
- Operate company vehicle responsibly and safely in line with company vehicle policies
- Ensure petty cash is used for work-related requirements which are approved before purchasing and in line with Petty cash policies
- Report any maintenance issues to the Line Manager that requires the services of an external contractor
- General assistance when needed from Head Office for execution of general operational tasks
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent N3 qualification
- Valid Drivers license
- Mathematical skills which include the ability to perform calculations for cash handling, weight measurement, volume and distance
- Any relevant Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage (Related Certificate/s, Diploma)
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in general mechanical and/or general equipment maintenance and repair
- Sufficient knowledge and experience in working with general mechanical, maintenance, and repair tools
- Fluent in English (Oral and written)
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent N3 qualification
