About the Role
The Revenue Controller position at Network Finance requires a skilled professional to take ownership of debtors and billing cycle, ensuring strong working capital management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and distributing invoices within agreed timelines, while maintaining accurate client information across relevant systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full debtors and billing cycle to support strong working capital management.
- Ensure invoices are prepared, processed, and distributed within agreed timelines.
- Engage regularly with clients to resolve billing queries and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales and Operations to ensure accurate and timely billing of services.
- Monitor client accounts, follow up on outstanding amounts, and support the collections process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information across relevant systems.
- Upload and manage invoices on client portals, ensuring smooth processing and payment tracking.
- Assist with reconciliations, including bank accounts and customer balances.
- Support month-end processes through preparation of accruals and analysis of revenue items.
- Contribute to reporting requirements and assist with ad hoc finance queries and projects.
Requirements
- A completed BCom Accounting degree.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work comfortably with large datasets.
- Exposure to accounting systems such as Pastel Partner or Sage Intacct would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a billing, revenue, or debtors-focused role.
- Ability to interpret contracts or service agreements in a financial context.
