Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage financial control across multiple Southern African entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
• Drive tax compliance, treasury governance, and financial risk management strategies
• Manage internal and external audits, including financial and compliance audits
• Lead financial control projects such as system implementations, upgrades, and M&A activities
• Ensure effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

• BCom Honours Degree
• CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience in a Financial Control environment
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and stakeholders across a complex organisation
• Strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and governance
• Experience in change management and driving performance within a finance function
• Exposure to multi-entity or multinational environments

Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards
• Experience with ERP systems (advantageous)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to operate both independently and within a team

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel across Southern Africa
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
