About the Role

HandPicked Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Gauteng. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across our manufacturing operations. With a strong background in quality assurance and a keen eye for detail, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures
  • Audit, monitor, and continuously improve production and operational processes
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, industry regulations, and internal policies
  • Identify system gaps, inefficiencies, and risks impacting product quality
  • Lead quality improvement and corrective action initiatives
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement preventative measures
  • Manage internal and external audits
  • Compile, analyse, and present quality reports and data
  • Train and guide staff on quality procedures and best practices
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to maintain quality standards
  • Oversee quality documentation and record-keeping

Requirements

  • Proven Quality Assurance experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment (essential)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance / Quality Management role
  • Strong systems thinking and analytical capability
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomes
  • Ability to analyse systems and processes and recommend practical improvements
  • Strong eye for detail with high professional standards
  • Assertive and confident communicator who can enforce quality standards
  • Someone who can challenge processes constructively and add value

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (if applicable)
