About the Role
HandPicked Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Gauteng. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across our manufacturing operations. With a strong background in quality assurance and a keen eye for detail, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures
- Audit, monitor, and continuously improve production and operational processes
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, industry regulations, and internal policies
- Identify system gaps, inefficiencies, and risks impacting product quality
- Lead quality improvement and corrective action initiatives
- Investigate non-conformances and implement preventative measures
- Manage internal and external audits
- Compile, analyse, and present quality reports and data
- Train and guide staff on quality procedures and best practices
- Work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to maintain quality standards
- Oversee quality documentation and record-keeping
Requirements
- Proven Quality Assurance experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment (essential)
- 3+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance / Quality Management role
- Strong systems thinking and analytical capability
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomes
- Ability to analyse systems and processes and recommend practical improvements
- Strong eye for detail with high professional standards
- Assertive and confident communicator who can enforce quality standards
- Someone who can challenge processes constructively and add value
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (if applicable)
