Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain balance sheet trackers and conduct regular balance sheet reviews.
- Review compliance with corporate financial controls and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Oversee intercompany balances, assist in resolving discrepancies, and drive the settlement of outstanding items.
- Support and prepare regional teams for internal audits.
- Track and close audit findings and action plans.
- Ensure group finance policies and instructions are communicated and implemented effectively.
- Assist with local ownership and regulatory requirements across the region.
- Review and support optimisation of legal entity structures.
- Drive initiatives to close dormant entities where appropriate.
- Provide support on ad hoc finance and compliance projects.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of experience preparing accounts through to balance sheet level, including complex reconciliations.
- Strong foreign exchange experience.
- Regional finance experience supporting multiple countries, companies, and business units.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, and financial controls.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 proficiency, including:
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- OneDrive document management
- Virtual collaboration and document-sharing platforms
- Experience using ERP or accounting systems such as PeopleSoft, SUN, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
