About the Role
As a Technical Coordinator at Fidelity Services Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administration of our operations in Pretoria Central. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and coordinate various administrative tasks, while also providing technical support to clients and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect quotes for allocated areas and verify they are on Listener.
- Assign quotes to assigned technicians and prioritize calls to optimize travel time.
- Schedule jobs efficiently according to capacity and geographic location (Servicing and Installations).
- Contact clients to schedule appointments, confirm times, and handle telephone technical bookings and control room booking sheets.
- Assist sales in booking technicians and voiding aged jobs.
- Provide pipeline figures of installations and assist JHB in sending job cards BNS and insurance reports.
- Schedule installations for CPT sales.
- Ensure all documents received from OTC are handed to the Technical Manager for allocation to technicians (invoice stats).
- Follow up on Top 20, Low Bat, and Overactive lists and resolve queries related to scheduling immediately.
- Assist technicians with loading radios, putting on test equipment, and providing EHS assistance.
- Offer technical assistance to clients and follow up on all jobs to ensure forward bookings for the same day.
- Assist in relieving absent team members and ensuring department efficiency.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years admin background experience.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with Listener advantageous.
