About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Sales Consultant for our Volkswagen East Rand dealership, where you will develop your sales skills in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with experienced sales professionals and be actively involved in promoting and selling our vehicle range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in identifying their vehicle needs and preferences while providing excellent customer service.
  • Support the sales team in generating leads through networking and outreach activities.
  • Participate in product demonstrations and vehicle presentations to potential customers.
  • Engage in continuous learning about our products, services, and promotions to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and follow up on leads to ensure timely conversion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives and dealership events.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your sales knowledge and skills.

Requirements

A valid drivers license is essential to facilitate customer test drives and vehicle deliveries. Demonstrable experience in customer service or sales, preferably in retail or an automotive environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse clientele. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn from feedback. Basic knowledge of sales processes and practices; training will be provided. Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
