About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Trainer to design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs for our clients’ sales teams in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving sales metrics and team performance, and excellent facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs for new hires and existing sales teams
- Facilitate onboarding programs focused on product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and compliance
- Conduct ongoing coaching, call listening, and performance evaluations to identify skill gaps
- Develop training materials including playbooks, scripts, e-learning modules, and assessments
- Partner with sales leadership to align training with business targets, KPIs, and campaign requirements
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness, including conversion rates, quality scores, and revenue impact
- Lead refresher training sessions and upskilling initiatives for underperforming teams
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices within BPO/KPO sales environments
- Support the implementation of quality assurance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Trainer within a KPO or BPO environment
- Strong understanding of high-volume sales operations, including inbound/outbound campaigns
- Demonstrated success in improving sales metrics and team performance
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills
- Experience with LMS platforms, call monitoring tools, and CRM systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
