About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Lodge Manager to support our General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a luxury safari lodge. This is a hands-on operational leadership role requiring a strong balance of guest engagement, team management, and operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure.
- Support reception, hosting, dining experiences, and guest activities.
- Handle VIP guests, special requests, and guest concerns professionally.
- Assist with hosting duties, including meals, events, and lodge inspections.
- Maintain a visible presence within guest areas and contribute to the overall guest journey.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within luxury hospitality.
- Previous experience within a luxury safari lodge, boutique hotel, or high-end hospitality environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively across multiple operational departments.
- Experience managing guest-facing operations and service delivery.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications required.
