About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our dealership team in George, responsible for providing full bookkeeping functions, managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with dealership procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and capturing financial transactions
- Managing debtors and creditors
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end and financial reporting
- Processing invoices, journals, and payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records and dealership documentation
- Assisting with payroll and general finance administration where required
- Reconciling vehicle stock and related financial transactions
- Ensuring compliance with dealership and company financial procedures
- Liaising with management regarding financial matters and reporting
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper
- Previous bookkeeping experience within a motor dealership environment is highly advantageous
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping will be beneficial
- Valid drivers licence
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
- Computer literate with experience on accounting and dealership systems
