About the Role
An established organization in the agricultural sector is looking to appoint a skilled and driven Feedmill Manager to oversee the smooth running of feedmill operations and support overall farm production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily feedmill operations and production activities
- Prepare daily reports and communicate operational updates to management
- Coordinate stock ordering and monitor feed consumption requirements
- Implement and manage feed ration processes
- Monitor feed quality, accuracy, and operational efficiencies
- Assist with workshop planning and breakdown coordination
- Ensure timely approvals and sign-off processes relating to feed, stock, and supplies
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation
- Conduct toolbox talks and support risk assessment initiatives
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Valid driver’s licence
- Computer literate
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Strong administrative and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
