About the Role
NWJ Resourcing is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our client in Germiston, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, components, and assemblies received from suppliers meet the organisation’s quality, dimensional, and specification requirements before being released into production.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect materials, components, and assemblies to ensure they meet quality, dimensional, and specification requirements
- Act as the first line of defence against defective materials entering the manufacturing process
- Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues
- Use measurements instruments such as callipers, micrometers, gauges, and ERP/MRP systems for recording inspection data
Requirements
- Technical / Mechanical qualification or Manufacturing / QC-related diploma preferred
- Additional training in quality inspection, metrology, or engineering principles is beneficial
- 3+ years of experience in quality inspection, materials inspection, or manufacturing QC
- Strong experience using measurements instruments
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems for recording inspection data
