Job Description

A well established company that offers professional steel processing services is currently recruiting for a QC Inspector in the Germiston areaThe QC Inspector is responsible to ensure that all materials, components and assemblies received from suppliers meet the organisations quality, dimensional and specification requirements before being released into production. Inspectors act as the first line of defence against defective materials entering the manufacturing process, protecting product quality and production flowMinimum RequirementsMatricTechnical / Mechanical qualification or Manufacturing / QC-related diploma preferred Additional training in quality inspection, metrology or engineering principles is beneficial 3+ years of experience in quality inspection, materials inspection or manufacturing QCStrong experience using measurements instruments (callipers, micrometers, gauges)Experience with ERP/MRP systems for recording inspection dataAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem solving skills Solid understanding of geometric tolerances and quality standards Effective communication skills for cross-department and supplier interactions Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentApplicants who meet the criteria are invited to submit their CV.
