Lodge Finance Administrator Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga Introduction A prestigious luxury lodge in the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga is seeking a skilled Lodge Finance Administrator to join its hospitality team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to manage lodge financial operations in one of South Africas most iconic destinations. The role requires strong financial expertise, administrative precision, and the ability to uphold the company’s Standards of Excellence while supporting conservationdriven hospitality. Job Requirements Prepare monthend worksheets and operating expense metrics. Check supplier invoices with accuracy and consistency. Review General Ledger and report inaccuracies to Financial Controller. Manage budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis. Assist with internal and external audits. Implement fraud risk management controls. Supervise preparation of financial performance reports. Investigate variances and implement corrective measures. Summarise weekly expenditure and lead finance meetings with HODs. Provide accurate explanations of monthly variances to head office. Coordinate CAPEX expenditure and discretionary forms. Manage petty cash and forex float weekly. Ensure revenue is recorded and collected from guests, staff, and agents. Complete revenue and occupancy spreadsheets. Coordinate gratuities, monthend reports, and management meetings. Support the company’s conservation message and multiskilling culture. Skills & Experience Financial or Hospitality qualification. 45 years experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax. High computer literacy, including Property Management systems. Analytical and strategic thinking skills. Leadership and people management experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for hospitality and conservation. Valid citizenship or work permit. Package Market related salary (DOE) Livein accommodation Start date: ASAP
