About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Lodge Manager to join our intimate 5-Star Safari Lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily lodge operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving strong financial and team performance within a luxury safari environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily lodge operations across FOH, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance
- Lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing team
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and handle VIP hosting
- Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance
- Maintain lodge standards, presentation, and operational excellence
- Coordinate all departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor stock control, procurement, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
- Utilise PMS and lodge systems for reservations, reporting, and operations
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a senior lodge or luxury hospitality management role
- Strong understanding of all lodge departments
- Computer literate (MS Office, PMS & POS systems)
- Experience with systems such as ResRequest, Semper, or PANstrat advantageous
- Fluent in English (additional languages advantageous)
- Valid drivers licence essential
