About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Yoga / Pilates Instructor to join our luxury private game reserve in Hoedspruit, South Africa. As a wellness professional, you will deliver inspiring yoga and/or Pilates experiences that enhance guests’ overall wellness journey while providing exceptional service within a tranquil safari environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group yoga and/or Pilates sessions for guests
- Adapt classes to suit varying fitness levels, abilities, and guest requirements
- Promote wellness, mindfulness, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Create a welcoming and inspiring environment for guests
- Deliver exceptional guest service at all times
- Maintain professional standards within the wellness centre
- Ensure all equipment is clean, organised, and well maintained
- Work closely with the spa and hospitality teams to create memorable guest experiences
- Provide guidance on wellness practices where appropriate
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and presentation
Requirements
Certified Yoga Instructor with a minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification and/or recognised Pilates qualification. Previous experience teaching group classes and private sessions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong guest service and hospitality focus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and positive attitude. First Aid certification advantageous. Previous experience within luxury hospitality, wellness retreats, or spa environments beneficial.
