About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our team in Hout Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and maintaining a smooth receiving process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily stock counts and maintain accurate records
- Manage receiving procedures, including checking invoices and verifying stock quantities
- Monitor and control wastage to minimize losses
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all administrative tasks
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet operational requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in stock control and receiving
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience advantageous
- Experience working on MarketMan will be highly beneficial
- Strong understanding of stock rotation, stock counts, receiving procedures, invoice checking, and stock issuing
- Computer literate
- Strong administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
