Job Description
The Financial Administrator will lead the Accounts department for the company’s Cape Town region. Driving efficiency, accuracy and guiding an accounts team.
Key Activities:
- Manage Accounts Department, including a team of 10 people
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff by providing guidance and assisting staff with queries
- Manage full accountancy function, including debtors, creditors, invoicing and payroll
- Compile and submit monthly returns to SARS
- Ensure smooth financial operations by liaising with other departments and by meeting departmental deliverables and deadlines
- Drive efficiency and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications and Experience required:
- A relevant post-school qualification in Accounting or similar.
- 45 years proven experience in leading a finance admin team.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous
- Experience with Sage 300 or similar system
- Advanced Excel
- Clear credit and criminal record
This role will suit a seasoned Accounts/Finance Team leader or supervisor who is professional, leads by example and is good at managing a team and multiple priorities simultaneously. Someone who is analytical with excellent attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
This role will be based in Salt River, it is a full time office based role.
