This role is ideal for a technically strong Electrical Field Service Technician who thrives in site-based environments and is comfortable working underground. You will be responsible for installation support, maintenance, and fault-finding on electrical systems, ensuring optimal equipment performance in demanding mining conditions in Welkom. Education: NQF Electrical qualification (N3 N6), or Electrical Diploma, or Red Seal Electrician (advantageous) Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 1 year of site-based or field service experience in an electrical capacity Proven hands-on electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience Exposure to industrial or mining environments is essential Underground mining experience or willingness to work underground Experience with one or more of the following: Direct current electrical systems Battery systems (lithium or industrial preferred) Transformers, switchgear, or substations Mobile mining equipment Underground electrical maintenance or instrumentation Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work independently on-site Apply now!
