Group Benefits Senior Representative & Service Manager
A reputable and well-established financial services provider is seeking an experienced, high-impact Group Benefits Senior Representative & Service Manager to join their team in Pretoria. This unique dual-function role requires a combination of senior advisory consulting and hands-on client services management. The ideal candidate will take ownership of corporate employee benefit portfolios, ensuring a high level of technical precision and personalized client care.
Key Performance Areas:

Dual-Function Consulting & Management: Act as both a senior sales consultant and a dedicated client service manager to deliver a seamless end-to-end employee benefits experience.

Group Benefits Administration: Structure, advise on, and manage group corporate benefit frameworks, covering life cover, provident funds, pension schemes, and dread disease/disability products.

Quotations & Underwriting Liaison: Generate accurate quotes, structure competitive product frameworks, and engage directly with South Africa’s major investment and insurance fund managers.

Client Relationship & Service Delivery: Manage day-to-day servicing inquiries, resolve escalated queries, and build sustainable, long-term corporate relationships.
Minimum Requirements:

Education: A completed BCom degree or an equivalent tertiary qualification is highly preferred. A minimum of Matric with a relevant NQF 4 or 5 qualification in Financial Services will also be considered.

Professional Registration: Regulatory Examination 5 (RE5) certification is highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of extensive experience as a senior representative/manager specifically within the group benefits and employee benefits sector.

Languages: Fully bilingual in English and an African language (with a strong focus on local languages such as isiZulu, isiXhosa, and SeSotho) to support a diverse member and client base.

Technical Knowledge: Deep working familiarity with the product offerings and operational rules of South Africa’s major financial fund managers.

Advantageous: Any prior experience dealing with financial investments, legal trusts, or broader commercial insurance lines is beneficial but not compulsory.
